CLEVELAND--In a surprising decision that has Cleveland residents rejoicing, the NFL has announced that Cleveland has been chosen as the site for the 2010 Browns-Jaguars game. “This is great news for the city of Cleveland,” said mayor Frank G. Jackson. “The fact that we are going to be able to host the Jaguars-Browns game right here in our home town in the middle of the NFL regular season speaks volumes about how far we’ve come in the past few years. This game could have been played in Jacksonville, it could have been played in New York, it could have been played in London. But instead, they chose Cleveland. And we will be up for the task. The world is watching, Cleveland. Let’s show them what we can do!” Jackson hopes the Browns-Jagurs game will be a springboard to other events, like the 2010 Hall of Fame game and the 2011 Super Bowl of Spelling.
