SYRACUSE, NY--In an interview Thursday with the New York Daily News, Kentucky star John Wall had a message for the New Jersey Nets, likely owners of the top pick in the NBA draft: I am a raging pothead. “What would I say to the Nets brass right now if I could talk to them? I would tell them that John Wall is a raging, hopelessly addicted pothead,” Wall said. “I would tell them that I’m pretty unreliable when it comes to practicing and learning the system and stuff and basically, in a nutshell, I probably wouldn’t be the ideal candidate to be picked first. Evan Turner is the kind of guy you can build a team around. I’m more suited to a team that already has some pieces in place, like the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Los Angeles Lakers.” Wall also said that he would use the money from his first contract to purchase a new motorcycle and several firearms.
