GREEN BAY, WI--The Vikings defeated the Green Bay Packers in impressive fashion Sunday, but that wasn’t the only victory the club celebrated. They also celebrated Randy Moss’s impressive trash talking victory over Jeremy Pickens, an 8 year-old Packers fan. The vicious trash talking match was instigated by Moss, who berated Pickens for his “faggot haircut” and proceeded to make the boy cry. “Hey you, with the faggot haircut, you want a piece of me?” Moss shouted to the horrified Pickens, after he heard the boy cheering for the Packers. “Come on down here, bitch! I’ll fuck you up! You think you bad? Check the scoreboard, motherfucker! Check the scoreboard!” When Pickens began to cry, Moss only grew more aggressive. “Hey, bitch, why don’t you come down here and say ‘Go Packers’ to my face!” shouted Moss. “Yea, you want a piece of this? You want a little of this? I didn’t think so. That’s right. Go on and cry to your mommy, bitch.” Moss’s teammates praised his effort and said they were inspired by his aggressive, in-your-face attitude. “Randy just went out there and played with a lot of intensity,” said receiver Nate Burleson. “You can tell he was real emotional by the way he laid the smack down on that little punk in the front row. After Randy did that, it sent a message to us that this was our game, and that we wouldn’t be intimidated by the Packers or their young fans. He just went head to head with the kid, mano y mano, and the kid totally freaked out. He had no chance. Man, it was great to get that win, but it tastes even sweeter knowing that we made an 8-year-old boy cry.” Moss said that he was simply trying to get his team fired up. He also denied being a bully, insisting that he acted in self-defense. “Man, that kid was sitting right behind the bench and he was screaming ‘Let’s go Packers! Let’s go Packers’ right in my ear,” said Moss. “You can tell he was trying to disrespect me, and you can’t just sit there and let that happen, not in a game like this. So when I stood up for myself and fought back, I think the guys really responded to it. In fact, a few minutes later, Onterrio [Smith] spit on some old lady. We were like ‘Yea! We’re bringin it to the house, bitches! We’re bringin it to the house!'” After the game, little Jeremy Pickens was comforted by his grandmother, who told reporters that the attack was completely unprovoked. “Jeremy didn’t do anything. He was just cheering like the rest of the crowd,” said Mabel Pickens, 68. “Then all of a sudden Randy Moss came over and started yelling at him. He made fun of his haircut. He said it was a ‘faggot’ haircut. I didn’t want to say anything, but I agreed with him. That really is a faggy haircut.” It is likely that the league will fine Moss for his actions, but that hasn’t dimmed the spirits of anyone on the team. Even center Matt Birk, who had harsh words for Moss after last week’s loss to the Redskins, congratulated him and credited him with lighting a fire under his teammates. “I gotta admit, Randy really came to play today,” said Birk. “He was not intimidated in the least by the hostile Green Bay crowd. When that kid started in on him he didn’t back down at all. In fact, he turned the tables and became the aggressor. That’s what impressed me the most about it. Things like this can really help a team get its swagger back.” Outside of the Vikings locker room, Moss doesn’t have much support. He is being lambasted in the national media for his perceived arrogance and boorishness. “That was a disgrace,” said Chris Berman on NFL Primetime. “Once thing you’ve got to have is respect for the game and respect for the fans. Randy Moss, great receiver, but needs to learn how to play the game the right way. Am I right, Tom Jackson?” “To an extent, yes,” Jackson replied. “But to be fair to Moss, the child did have faggy hair. It was all red and curly and shit. However, that does not justify making the child cry. He should've made fun of him behind his back, instead, like we do to Ron Jaworski.”
