June 29, 2017 |
NEW YORK--The Knicks finally parted ways with beleaguered and controversial President of Basketball Operations Phil Jackson on Tuesday, and will now begin searching for a replacement that is willing to destroy his reputation and career by trying to right the shit show that is the New York Knicks basketball organization, the New York Times reported today. Owner James Dolan says the team has many candidates but would not offer any specifics. “Oh we have a lot of candidates,” Dolan told the Times. “We’ll be interviewing them in the coming weeks. Obviously we’re looking for someone with an excellent reputation who would be willing to torpedo that reputation and also his entire career for a few futile years trying to turn this monstrosity into a contender. Good news? I’ll probably overpay them for their trouble.”
