MINNESOTA--Timberwolves rookie point guard Jonny Flynn was the victim of a good-natured hazing ritual Thursday morning when teammates cornered him in the locker room and sliced both his ACL’s. Flynn is expected to miss the rest of this year and most of next year and may never be the same player again, making the hazing ritual a roaring success. “Ah man, the guys really got me on this one,” said Flynn, currently confined to a wheelchair. “They got me in a corner and the next thing I knew Big Al pulling out a knife, plunging it into the back of my leg and slicing away. As I’m screaming and crying, they do the same thing to the other one! What a bunch of pranksters! That’s what I love about these guys. I may never regain full range of movement, but I really feel like I'm part of the team now. I just can't wait until next year when I get to be the one slicing."
