GAINESVILLE, FL--With his college career behind him and an NFL career ahead, Florida Gators QB Tim Tebow did something he’s been wanting to do for years: tell his coach, Urban Meyer, to piss off. “Piss off, old man!” Tebow said as he walked by Urban Meyer’s office for the last time. “Have fun leading this declining program while I go off to glory in the NFL. Yea, that’s right. I’m talking to you. Oh, does this surprise you? Did you think I was going to come in here and give you a big hug and a kiss? The jig is up, pal. I don’t need to play this little game anymore. I was just using this lousy little program as a stepping stone to greatness. So piss off, asshole! And God bless.” Following the confrontation, a puzzled Urban Meyer shrugged and resumed his phone conversation with the Notre Dame athletic director. |
