NEW YORK--At the urging of players and coaches from both teams, the NFL has agreed to throw the records out the window before Sunday’s Giants-Cowboys clash. Per the commissioner, all records, both individual and team, will be removed from the NFL’s archives and thrown out a window before the 4:30 pm kickoff. "As you know, when these two teams get together, you can throw the records out the window," Roger Goodell said on Friday. "With that in mind, we are gathering all records of past Cowboys-Giants match ups, both individual and team, and throwing them out the window of our headquarters in New York. If anybody is walking near 622 3rd Ave around 3:00 PM tomorrow, stay alert, lest you be buried under an avalanche of papers, videos, and other debris." Giants defender Justin Tuck, who earlier in the week called for the records to thrown out the window, noted that his statement "wasn't meant to be taken literally."
