OAKLAND--The hapless Oakland Raiders selected little known lineman Bruce Campbell with the eighth pick in Don Banks’ latest mock draft, proving that they can’t even select the right player in a make-pretend draft slapped together by a sportswriter. Banks noted that the Raiders would select Campbell based on his quickness and leaping ability. “Al Davis loves players who put up good combine numbers,” Banks wrote. “Campbell had an outstanding 40-time and a great vertical leap. He was totally ineffective in college, however, and doesn’t project as a very productive NFL player. So I don't know what the Raiders will be thinking with this pick.” Adding insult to injury, the mock draft also has Campbell refusing to sign with the Raiders.
